Rhett's Favorite Song From Pre-School

This kid has learned so much from pre-school in the short 2 months that he went. He thrives around other kids who are more advanced than him.

Today it's Tiny Tim, Tomorrow the World.....

After all, there ain't no mountain high enough that this kid can't concur it.

Just came across this, and it made me think of your blog entry the other day.

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him. Every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements, and to store his few possessions. One day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, with smoke rolling up to the sky. He felt the worst had happened, and everything was lost. He was stunned with disbelief, grief, and anger. He cried out, 'God! How could you do this to me?' Early the next day, he was awakened by the sound of a ship approaching the island! It had come to rescue him! 'How did you know I was here?' asked the weary man of his rescuers. 'We saw your smoke signal,' they replied.

The Moral of This Story:

It's easy to get discouraged when things are going bad, but we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of our pain and suffering. Remember that the next time your little hut seems to be burning to the ground. It just may be a smoke signal that summons the Grace of God.
Your family is in my prayers, I hape that one day real soon you can cover all your bills, and put something away.

That's the sweetest.I love the grand finale of bubbles at the end. Glad to see another post. I did see this yesterday, but something was up or down on my end, when I came back to leave a comment it wasn't here, just your previous post. Oh well, it's here now. Keeping you in our prayers.

Oh Pam, when do we ever get a break? I went 5 weeks without blogging but it was because I just never could find time. But I'm going to play catch up on everyones blogs today and then make it a point to start blogging again.

I'm sorry about your rude comments. I have only had a few but I still love the fact that they are big cowards.

I have never questioned your fun events. If you are taking it from your living expense funds, well, life should have some fun it it as well! I always enjoy your pictures of the kiddos. Keep it up.

Hugs to the family and I will pray that Andy lands a great job!

Very cute! Kayla is "low functioning" but is in a class with mostly typical peers. She does wonderfully and learns so much just by watching them. I'm really going to miss it when she goes to special ed Kindy in the fall.

Thanks for making my day brighter!! Rhett is pure joy, and to hear his song, made me smile... you might have financial worries today, but you have your family,,and that makes things work out somehow.

I love that Rhett's shorts have the skull and cross bones on them! I get a lot of grief for dressing Jack like that but too bad! It suits them, you know?

I believe every person probably has a different reason for blogging and every reader goes to each site for a different reason. It is like going to the library...we choose a book for its recipes, one for its pictures, one for it heartwarming qualities, one because the reader and author has something in common. As for the moms of sick or challenging children, I just think it helps them deal with their hearts breaking and the stress involved in their "full-time" job magnified a thousand fold! Even the moms of all healthy children like to share
joy and sorrow. I don't think they exploit their children. (Nor do I believe they have all this money...most parents of sick or handicapped children are bankrupt.)
Also, they cannot determine how many people "click" on their site. They are popular because in some way they are meeting someone's needs. I'll continue to pray for Rhett and your sweet little family. "Fair and balanced" opinions...Best wishes, Lynn B.

I am anonymous because I don't have the slightest idea how to begin a blog!
