Uhnkey.....

Any of you that know Chicken Little know that he is a blankie boy. Especially Minky blankies. Very seldom does he go anywhere with out a minky blankie in tow.

When he had his Nissen done back in June he had a blankie similar to the one pictured above that was sent to us by a beloved blog reader. He loved that thing, and it spent many a day with him while he was in the hospital. When he had his tethered cord release in August his Uhnkey blankie went in with him into the O.R. along with another Uhnkey that he got from the zoo. (Remember that day? We were scheduled to go into surgery at 7 am but there were no PICU beds and they wouldn't do the surgery until there was one ready for him. He didn't go in until like 3 pm, so we went to the zoo and hung out there while we waited for him to go into surgery.)

Anyhow, when he came out of surgery he had his Uhnkey, but not his Uhnkey blankie.

Everyone looked but they couldn't find it.

Okay so long story short, the lady that makes them heard about Rhett's lost Uhnkey and she came to our rescue. Not only did she embroider his name on it, but she sent us TWO of the exact same Uhnkey blankies! That way if one gets lost or needs a bath-which with Chicken Little you know it's gonna need a bath sooner rather than later-we don't have any meltdowns.

I am so tickled.

She even went out of her way and made one for Tweety too. Tweety LOVES it. She was so excited to get it, and it was pink. Yeah, Tweety is all about pink.

Tonight both Chicken Little and Tweety are saftely tucky taco'd into bed with their Uhnkey and Elephant and are having sweet dreams.
