Keep The Good Vibes Comin' Baby....

Rhett is scheduled tomorrow to go into the OR at 9 am for his dental work, and to extract the tooth that he broke off last month.

Hopefully that's the only tooth they will have to extract. Reflux is nasty stuff, and it has wreaked havoc on those little toofers of his.

I asked him today if he wanted to go up to the hospital. He looked at me kind of funny and said "Ohhh Kay!!""

-->Just between you and me though? I think he had no clue what I was talking about<--

He decided that when doing laundry he likes to get in the dryer and push the laundry out. It's easier I guess.

Do you like your Rhett a little damp, or extra fluffy?

Many of you have asked how Chloee is doing with her headaches. I am super frustrated with the whole situation. She is still having them, and her neck is still bothering her. You can feel a bulge in her neck on the right side just below the base of her head. We have been told that it's due to her spinal cord being out of alignment, yet they don't want us to take her to the chiropracter. They want to have an MRI done first.

Here's the problem with that though. The Neurology clinc up a the hospital wants all of her medical records and this and that. So everytime our Dr. sends up information to them, they say that they then need something else. It's been back and forth like that for over 2 months now.

Everytime I call up to Neurology they just sit there and scratch their heads and say, "Well what do you want me to do?"

I think the single most thing that ticks me off about the whole situation, is that we have never had one issue with this SAME office for Rhett. Maybe it's because when he did have his neruological issues we were in the hospital already, so he was established as a patient.

I must admit that I haven't been pushing as hard as I should either. There have been so many other things going on with Rhett, and Dakota. Not to mention the move and just life in general.

I am only one person and can only do so much. Ya know?

As much as people tell me I am super mom, I'm really not.

I mean, it would be totally wicked to walk around in a pink super hero cape with a flashy M on it. I can see it now. Daisy Duke shorts, a hot pink Tank Top, and really long pink hooker boots.

Okay. Maybe not. That sounds more like super hooker than super mom.

(Disclaimer: I am totally not a hooker. Never.have.been.never.will.be, and totally don't intend on ever being one.)

Ewww. Just Ewww.

Anyhow. Maybe I could just wear the pink cape over the top of my jeans and T-shirt.

How did I get from the subject of Chloee's headaches to hookers?

You know what that means doesn't it? (Besides the fact that I obviously need to get me some so I quit thinking bout' stuff like that.)

It means that I am rambling. Rambling means that I am super tired and need to just go to bed.

One last thing. Any of you watch Little People Big World? I have never caught the first part of the episode where Mike dies. I know he died in surgery, but what caused him to have to have the surgery in the first place?

It's driving me nuts.

Okay, Night all.

You don't know me but I have been reading your blog and love your stories and your family. I have had some problems with my neck and I have found an Acupunctures in St. George that has helped me soooo much. email me if you want more info. bwilltrout@hotmail.com

Hey, Mike had a heart attack, and his aorta ruptered, and thats why they took him to surgery to repair that. It was a super risky surgery to begin with.
I HATE the neurology clinic. Every time I would call about Jax siezures being out of control, they treat him like he's always going to have siezures so what do you want me to do about it.You have to get really nasty with them.

Ummm, haven't you seen The Incredibles? No capes! You should stick with something mom comfy-ish like sweats and slippers with a big SM on them (Super Mom)!

You love your kids and you are doing what you can do. More power to you!

I will take Rhett super fluffy!!! And please put him on a plane and he can help me do our laundry!

I will be sending prayers your way tomorrow.

Take care and hey maybe while your down there tomorrow, you can stop in at the neurologist clinic in person???? Bet that would get them up off their butts and figure out an appointment for you.

I am sorry I have not been commenting. I have been reading. I have been in Curtis up to my ears with his problems and on and on and on. I haven't forgotten about you and still think of you often. I hear ya about Dakota. I wish others understood where we walk with our kids sometimes. Take care and I pray for you often. I did write you a couple of emails. Did you get them?

I'm so glad you asked about Mike from Litte People big World...I saw the episode the other day and just as it came to the part where he dies, my kids all decided to start screaming and I missed it!!! It was really bugging me what happend.

Anyways, good luck with the dental surgery. Kaia just had surgery on Friday, because she had TWELVE cavities!! Nice huh! Hopefully Rhett doesn't have that many, or any in fact.

Also, I've been thinking about Chloee too and hope you get some answers soon.

Something my mother would do, and my sister does is, go to the ER. If you can't get in when you want, and or you're not getting any answers, go to the ER. A child with headaches and a bulge on her neck will get someone's attention to do something immediately. Worth trying!

First of all I love the pic of Rhett in the dryer. He is just so cute. Good luck and prayers with you while Rhett is having his tooth pulled. I'm sorry you're having so many problems getting Chloee the treatment she deserves. The only thing I can think of is maybe putting in a complaint to whoever is in charge of the hospital. Good luck with everything.

Pam...From reading your twitter comments, I can't believe how anyone can suggest that you should have let Rhett go. How do you keep your cool when ignorant people say unexcuesable things to you? I think Rhett is wonderful. And by the way, You ARE super mom!! Suzy

You had posted these headaches could be some sort of serious issue with Chloe and an MRI still isn't done because Rhett and Dakota take up your time? Poor kid.
