So we don't think it's cancer. That's good. His WBC is in normal range, however the dr's kind of think it should be on the high side since he still has a RAGING ear infection.
Right now we are leaning more on the side that we all kind of think his spinal cord has retethered.
Which is MUCH better than cancer.
However we don't have insurance.
To confirm the retethering we have to have an MRI. They won't do an MRI unless we pay for it up front.
His ped also wants some more tests ran, but the hospital won't do it on an outpatient basis without us payin an arm and a leg and our first born.
So we might be admitted Monday for testing inpatient.
So I have a whole weekend of sitting here worrying and worrying.
Thanks for the prayers. I know they have helped. I will update more when I know more.

I've been hearing "We Don't Think It's Cancer, but We're Not Sure" for about a year. It's frustrating.
Oh I am so sorry about all the medical/insurance stuff. Still praying here.
Whew! One worry down! Still praying for you guys, so keep us posted!
Pam, oh my gosh! I am praying my heart out. Kiss that boy for me!
Oh gosh. Well I'm PRAISING GOD it's not cancer, but man I didn't know a spinal cord could retether! That stinks!!! I hate insurance sometimes. I hope they figure it out soon! Thanks for updating, we're still praying!
This is Joyce. Oh my what a journey you all have been on. I wish there was something that could be done about this health insurance. That has to be such a terrible feeling. I can't even imagine how much an MRI is out-of- pocket. You are all in our hearts and prayers.
I am so sorry, you guys are all in our prayers. This health insurance is a joke, Only in America! Seriously, it's ridiculous. Stay strong!
P,S, sorry the insurance got me in such a tither I forgot to at least say, thank God it's not Cancer, sending prayers.

Lots and Lots of Prayers coming Rhett's way! Pam you are a Fabulous mother and an Amazing advocate for your children. I hope you have a blessed Mothers Day. You are on heck of a Mommy :-)
God Bless
I'm relieved to hear that it's probably not cancer, but so sorry about the insurance situation. I can't even imaging what you guys must be going through. I'm hoping for good results...
Darn it! You know - E's WBC was low too. How were the rest of Rhett's numbers? No one mentioned the "C" word to me either, but you know how I think. Retethering? Our neuro said that was very rare, but we still are VERY gross motor delayed. That has crossed my mind as well. Keep me in the loop. Many prayers for your dear Rhetters! xo
