An Angel Gets Her Wings.....

I was going to post another review and give away this morning. But I can't do it.

See when Rhett was up at PCMC a while back we found a beautiful family that had the most adorable little girl.

Her name was Gracie. I love the name Gracie. If Rhett would have been a little girl that would have been his name.

This little Gracie was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, and she has had it so rough from the very begining. A couple of weeks ago, this beautiful little family found out that Gracie was not a candidate for the 3 step surgeries. At that time they listed her for a heart transplant. After just three days of being on the list, Gracie recieved her new heart.

But the heart didn't work right, and she has been struggling and on ECMO.

They have decided that Gracie's little heart is not going to recover, and today she will earn her angel wings.

My heart is breaking for this family. Nothing has been easy for them, and Gracie is the most beautiful little girl. Her smile and her eyes just melt my heart.

Please, if you pray, say a prayer for this family that they will have the comfort and strength to go on without their Gracie. Go and read their blog from the begining. Fall in love with this little girl, and be inspired by her parents and the strength and faith that they have.

Gracie has touched our lives, and we will never forget her.

I am fighting back tears. My daughter went thru open heart surgery almost a year ago at 3 months of age, and I just can't..... I don't have the words. I pray for their family to find peace and comfort.
