Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I have been slacking in the Not Me! Monday department. Truthfully I have had some brain block, and haven't been able to function at the computer. My brain turns to mush the second I look at the screen....unless it's Twitter of course. Then I am alert and ready for action.....

~Damn you Twitter.

So here is my Therapy for the week. I need it after the week I've had.

I did not turn on the computer this morning only to check my emails and find an anonymous comment on my blog about how I am a crappy mom and have let Chloee slide on her MRI due to my time being taken up by Dakota and Rhett.

I totally belive in ignoring these types of comments because people are just big fat chickens that hide behind their computer, so I am not going to repsond to it by saying that,

A. Chloee has had a CT scan and it ruled out anything dangerous that needed immediate attention.

B. Had you really read the post you would have seen that the Neurologist's office is dragging their feet like no other.

C. Since like I said in that post, she is being followed by her Pediatricin, so if it was something that they were super worried about she would be in the hospital right now. Yes, we aren't sure what's going on, and yes we know it's something, but as I mentioned before we have ruled out anything super serious.

But you know, since I don't respond to crazy trolls, you did not just see the above paragraphs.

While feeding my Twitter addiction, I did not come across one of my husbands cousins after we had been talking for a week or so, and we did not start talking about how some of his distant family members put the fun in dysfunctional. That would be mean, so really, I would never do that.

I of course do not have dysfunctional family members either. Mine are all awesome and perfect in every single way.

Not.

Today I am not posting all of the kids beds on Craiglist since they now have new bunk beds over at the condo. Which means that if they sell between today and Saturday, I am not going to make them just sleep on the floor.

Last week when we went up to the hospital to have Rhett's dental work done, the hospital security gaurd did not look up at me as I was driving into the parking lot and say, "Hey! You guys are back again, How's little Rhett doing?"

Because if he did, that would mean that we spend entirley too much time up there, which we don't so it didn't really happen.

This same security guard also did not save my butt from having a dead battery by radioing into the security that sits at the front desk, that I had left my lights on.

Last but not least, I am not going to sink down to my knees and beg you and plead for you to spread the word about our blog and our give aways. That would be so tacky, and uncalled for, so don't tell everyone you know about us okay?

For more Not Me! Monday's go here.

Pam,

Just a thought about Chloee. I have seen & actually witnessed where the back of the neck muscles get 'so tight/bad' that all the muscles start contracting and then one gets nauseated, vomiting, etc. Have you tried massaging her neck, especially where you said she had the 'lump' (which could be a muscle knot) and use heat/ice?? It may take several 'massages' to get the muscles quieted down- but if she is the type that 'holds' tension in, it might be something to consider-especially if they have ruled out other serious causes. Just a thought.

Oh some people just have the nerve. Maybe if it bothers him/her so much, they should put their life on hold and come down and help you out. Otherwise, if they don't have a positve suggestion, stay off your blog!

I know why Chloee hasn't gotten in for her MRI......because I READ your blog.

Hope you have a wonderful day!
