Rhett did not have a hoodie with strings on it on. It was the actual hood itself that got caught. It was a sweatshirt type hoodie, and the hood was pretty large. I've noticed that the Hurley brand hoods are all much larger than typical kid hoodies, and that's what he had on.
That's why I was so schocked.
He fell backwards as the door was opening and konked his head and the hood got caught as the door was sliding.
I'm still not sure how exactly he managed to do it. I mean by all logic it's not something that could happen very often. It was one of those freak accidents I guess.
I typically don't let him walk but the cart was full and he wouldn't stay in the seat without throwing eggs everywhere.
Anyhow, I wasn't too clear on last nights post, so I wanted to let you all know that it was the actual hood not strings or anything. So be careful if you have an unsteady walker.
Only my kid eh?

I have an "only my kid eh". Caleb threw a fitting to my vaccuum up in the air. It was round and hollow. He looked up and it came down right on his forehead and cut a circle in his head and it required stitches in a circle! The Dr. couldn't believe it. We still laugh to this day. However, the hood thing is NOT funny in any way.
Hey Pam, what template do you have for your blog? I want the one with sidebars on both sides. Let me know, I'm kind of new at blogger still.
Oh honey that had to scare you to death. HUGS to both of you!
Just goes to show that you can't protect them every minute. I am so glad he is ok.
